At the Stocket
The Church is a B-Listed building, set in spacious grounds and is over a hundred years old. Our Sanctuary and Halls were extensively refurbished in 2015 to create modern spaces whilst retaining the beauty of the original architecture.
Our main worshipping space, the Sanctuary, is a welcoming space with flexible seating and comfortable surroundings. On the lower level we have the comfortable Garden Lounge with floor to ceiling windows, and an adjacent kitchen fitted to a professional standard which is suitable for serving teas and coffees or fully catered events in the Garden Lounge or Large Hall. For youth groups, exercise classes, or community events we have the Large Hall which is a gym hall complete with stage and curtains. The Small Hall is suitable for similar, smaller activities and there are stacking chairs and folding tables available for both rooms. A smaller kitchen is also available for making small quantities of tea and coffee with snacks for events in the Large and Small Halls.
All areas are accessible and the toilet provision for the halls includes a gender neutral fully accessible toilet, a child friendly toilet and ladies and gents toilets. We have a modern heating system throughout the building, Wi-Fi, a fire alarm and emergency lighting and we hold a public entertainment licence.
Outside we have beautiful grounds which provide a peaceful setting and you are welcome to walk through and enjoy them. Wooden bench seats are placed around the grounds for sitting out on a fine day and you can take additional plastic chairs outside if you want to take advantage of sunny days.
Our hall premises are available to hire - either on a regular basis or as a one off. The Sanctuary has a seating capacity of 250, with individual seats arranged theatre style, facing the raised Chancel area at the front. There are tables around the sides and space for pushchairs, buggies etc as required. The seating can be adjusted - for example to create more space at the front by removing some rows. At the rear of the Sanctuary are further sets of tables and chairs to create a comfortable space for people to enjoy hot and cold drinks.

The Garden Lounge is a café style lounge furnished with tables and comfortable chairs and a seated capacity of up to 40 people. It has large floor to ceiling windows creating a bright modern space.

The Large Hall is a gym hall suitable for games and other physical activities or seated with a capacity up to 80. There is a stage with curtains and a piano.

The Small Hall as its name suggests is a smaller room and is located at the back of the halls. It is also suitable for physical activities or seated with a capacity of around 20. It is a bright and airy room with windows on three of the walls.

DIRECTIONS
Fountainhall at the Stocket (former Midstocket Church) is located at Harcourt Road, Aberdeen AB15 5NZ.
By car. Fountainhall at the Stocket is situated at the junction of Harcourt Road and Mid Stocket Road in the West End area of Aberdeen. Arriving from the South, follow the A92/South Anderson Drive. Turn right onto Mid Stocket Road, which will lead you straight to the Church. Arriving from the North, join the A92/North Anderson Drive. Turn left onto Mid Stocket Road which again will lead you straight to the Church.
By train/Bus. The bus station is situated in Union Square shopping centre, next to the train station. The bus 3, 3A, 14 and 23 will take you directly to Fountainhall at the Stocket at the bus stop on Harcourt Road.
PARKING
There is no parking available on the site other than exceptionally and by prior arrangement, but there is good on-street parking in the neighbourhood if you come by car. Street parking is pay parking Mon-Fri 10am - 4pm but is free and unlimited outside these hours. See Aberdeen City Council for details on how to pay.
